Non Critical Area - Fire Sprinklet Pipe ReplacementPlanned Maintenance

Description

The team from Nexus is onsite to replace the 6" main water pipe that feeds the sprinkler heads in the non critical area of the GYR1 Facility. The system is being placed in Test Mode will the failed pipe is replaced with the new pipe.

[Resolved] Repair and replacement of pipe is being executed today by our Fire Protection Services Vendor Nexus.

[Monitoring] Pipe patch is in place and leak is now stopped. Full repair requires 4' of 6"x6" Schedule 10 Pipe replacement to take place which will be scheduled with vendor. Will leave Incident in Monitoring Status until complete pipe replacement is completed.

[Monitoring] Vendor is still in route to make repair. ETA is between 12-4pm today. All fire suppression systems are operational/still online.

[Identified] A water leak in the main water supply pipe has been identified and investigated inside the FACP room. This room is external to the GYR1 building. Vendor has been notified and is in route to repair valve and leak in line. Fire sprinkler system and VESDA system are all operational, however water leak in main supply line has to be repaired.
