The UPS vendor has identified that transformer 2 in UPS2A MMU3 failed and will require replacement. MMU3 is currently offline but UPS2A remains online with 480kW of capacity. Given current load levels, redundancy/resiliency is still achieved. Another maintenance will scheduled once repairs can be made.

Description

DCX technical operations has opened an Emergency Maintenance window effective immediately. MMU3 in UPS2A is in alarm. The UPS vendor has been notified and we will be reviewing this issue as soon as possible. No customer impact has occurred, but there is a temporary reduction in power redundancy/resiliency.

DCX will be performing maintenance to insert gear in line with the OTN composite fiber links to provide additional resilience. During the change window the OTN south path will experience a brief interruption of approximately 15 minutes.
